Lisa Academy - Little Rock

LISA Academy is a community school offering a comprehensive college preparatory program focusing on science, mathematics, and technology. It offers an alternative form of public schooling. LISA Academy is a non-sectarian, non-discriminatory, tuition-free school financed by Arkansas State of Education. However, it is exempt from many public school regulations so that it can pursue an innovative approach that improves student performance. LISA Academy is a small structured school delivering a rigorous, innovative educational program. The first school year (2003-2004) the institution began with grades 6, 7, and 8 with an enrollment of about 200 students. Now, LISA Academy offers high quality education for grades 6 through 11 with an enrollment of about 420 students.
