Graduation Pathways

LISA Academy offers three diploma tracks to meet the needs of ambitious, high-achieving students while setting a high standard for all graduates. In addition to these requirements, all students must also have at least 1 college acceptance, a FAFSA on file, and at least 75 hours of documented community service.

Honors Graduation Plan

Awarded to students who demonstrate unparalleled academic excellence, extensive community service, and exceptional standardized test performance. This diploma positions students as highly competitive candidates for Ivy League and top-tier universities, with access to elite scholarships and academic opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

GPA: 4.0 or above

Advanced Graduation Plan

Recognizes students who excel academically, serve their communities, and demonstrate strong standardized test performance. This diploma prepares students for admission to selective colleges and scholarships, showcasing their academic distinction and service.

Standard Graduation Plan

Celebrates students who demonstrate academic growth, community engagement, and college readiness. All students are expected to meet these minimum requirements for graduation.

AP Exam fees are paid by the state, so there are no charges for students.

Regular courses: A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, etc.

AP courses: A = 5.0, B = 4.0, C = 3.0, etc.

AP courses are better for students wanting to raise their GPA, as well as students aiming for highly competitive universities, where AP courses are universally recognized.

Concurrent Credit Courses

LISA Academy partners with local colleges to provide dual credit opportunities for juniors and seniors who meet eligibility requirements. Students can earn credit for courses such as:

Community Service Commitment

To promote leadership and civic responsibility, all students complete 75 documented volunteer hours at approved nonprofit organizations. This requirement encourages leadership, empathy, and civic engagement while strengthening college applications and scholarship eligibility.

Students may complete these hours anytime from 9th-12th grade at an approved site. Students transferring to LISA Academy after 9th grade or those graduating early must meet prorated service hour requirements based on their time enrolled in Arkansas public schools
